E-commerce web design that actually sells.
Most Irish e-commerce stores are pretty, slow, and confusing at checkout. A store that sells is fast, obvious, and has a checkout your gran could complete on a bus. That is what I build — see why website design matters for the full reasoning.
Shopify, built in three weeks, mobile-first, product feed set up for Google Shopping from day one. From €700 total project price.
Realistic timeline
Three weeks from kickoff to selling.
Not a six-month agency build. Not a €99/month drag-and-drop weekend either. Three weeks of focused work with real strategy behind it.

Who e-commerce web design is right for.
Right for you if
- You are launching, or ready to relaunch, an Irish e-commerce store selling physical or digital products
- You have 5-100 SKUs. Above 500, an enterprise Shopify Plus specialist suits better
- You accept your store lives or dies on mobile checkout speed and clarity, not fancy animations
- You are willing to invest in decent product photography (or already have it). Bad photos kill conversion
- You want to run Shopping ads or Meta ads on top — I build the store to work with them
Not for you if
- You need marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Etsy) integrated as your main channel. Different specialists, different tools
- You have 500+ SKUs with complex variants and B2B tiers. Shopify Plus or BigCommerce with a specialist agency
- You want a custom checkout built from scratch. Shopify's is one of the most-tested in the world — I will not out-engineer it
- You expect Amazon-style sales in month one. E-commerce needs ads or content behind it to sell
- You are not actually selling products online — you need a small business site or a service business site instead
What's included
What you get in an e-commerce build.
Shopify strategy
Store structure, category tree, pricing display, shipping zones, tax settings, payment gateways. Boring, essential, done right.
Product page templates
One template that works for all your SKUs. Trust signals, reviews slot, cross-sell, clear CTA above the fold.
Mobile-first checkout
Guest checkout on by default, Apple Pay and Google Pay enabled, address auto-complete, minimum steps. Cart abandonment is a checkout problem 80% of the time.
Product copy for first SKUs
First 10-20 product descriptions written by me. Templated so you can add the rest yourself in the same voice.
Google Merchant Center feed
Product feed to Shopping ads set up on launch day. If you plan to run Google Shopping, the store is ready for it.
30 days of post-launch support
Nothing goes perfectly on day one. First 30 days of tweaks and fixes included, no invoice for those.
Why Shopify
Why I build almost every store on Shopify.
The checkout is the best in the world
Shopify's checkout has been optimised on billions of transactions. WooCommerce checkouts are custom every time. I will not out-engineer what Shopify has already tested.
You can run the store yourself
Add products, change prices, run sales, print packing slips. No developer needed for day-to-day. WooCommerce requires more support than most Irish SMEs want to pay for.
Integrations that work
Meta pixel, Google Merchant Center, Klaviyo, TikTok Shop, printers, accountants — all one-click integrations. Setup that takes hours on WordPress takes minutes here.
Predictable monthly cost
Basic Shopify is €29/month. WooCommerce is "free" but real hosting, security, and plugins cost more. Shopify eats the ops so you can sell.
Pricing

FAQ
Things people ask.
Can you migrate my existing store?
Usually yes — WooCommerce, Squarespace Commerce, Wix, or older Shopify themes. Migration is included in the €700 build price up to 50 products. Above that, add €5 per product. If you're not sure whether a template or a proper build is the right call, see my website templates guide.
Do you write product descriptions?
First 10-20 SKUs, yes. I write them in a template so you can add the rest in the same voice yourself. If you want me to write all product copy for a large catalogue, quoted separately.
What about payment gateways for Ireland?
Stripe, Shopify Payments, Revolut Business, and PayPal all work in Ireland out of the box. I set them up as part of the build.
Can you run the Google Shopping ads too?
Yes. Part of my Google Ads service. Shopping campaigns are usually the highest-ROI campaign type for a well-built store.
What if my products need custom features (subscriptions, bundles, memberships)?
Shopify has proven apps for all of these — Recharge for subscriptions, PickyStory for bundles, Klaviyo for lifecycle. I set them up as part of the build if you tell me at week one.
