Cookie Policy
Last updated: 27 January 2026
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies cj-digimarketing.com uses, why I use them, and how you can control them.
What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to site owners about how the site is used.
Cookies used on this site
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the site to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking the site.
- Session cookies set by Vercel (hosting platform) for security and performance
Analytics cookies
These help me understand how visitors use the site so I can improve it. They are anonymous and do not identify you individually.
- Vercel Web Analytics: privacy-friendly, no personal data collection, no cross-site tracking
- Google Analytics 4 (if enabled): collects aggregate data on visitors, traffic sources, and page views. Set with IP anonymisation and no advertising features by default
Functional cookies
These cookies enable optional features.
- YouTube embed cookies if you watch an embedded video on a blog post (only set when you press play)
- Calendly iframe cookies if you load the booking widget on the contact page
Marketing cookies
The site does not currently use any marketing or advertising cookies. If this changes, the policy will be updated and a consent banner introduced.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
- See what cookies are stored and delete them
- Block third-party cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all cookies
- Delete all cookies when you close the browser
Note: blocking all cookies may prevent some parts of the site from working properly.
Browser-specific instructions
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Do Not Track
The site respects Do Not Track signals from your browser where technically possible.
Updates
This policy will be updated as my use of cookies changes. The "last updated" date reflects the most recent change.

A note: A cookie consent banner is in place at the bottom of the site. You can update your preferences any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. This policy reflects the cookies actually set by the site at present. If new tracking is added (GA4, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, etc.), this policy will be updated and the banner will re-prompt. The full policy should ideally also be reviewed by an Irish solicitor before launch — a one-off €100 to €250 engagement.
